Our History
Mobile Modular Management Corporation, a division of McGrath RentCorp, was founded in 1979 by Bob McGrath. The Company is headquartered in Livermore, California.
Mobile Modular is now one of five subdivisions of McGrath RentCorp, but it was the business that started it all in 1979, on only two acres in northern California’s East Bay area. We then stretched into southern California, and then Texas. By 1984 McGrath RentCorp was born, the flagship company for Mobile Modular, Mobile Modular Portable Storage, Enviroplex, TRS-RenTelco, and Adler Tank Rentals.
