Mobile Modular Installs Permanent Medical Clinic in Arizona

Background

A new medical clinic building was needed for The Tonto Apache Tribe in Payson, AZ. Their needs and requirements consisted of a floorplan that included 4 exam rooms, a patient waiting area, a staff work area, an office, as well as a reception area.

Mobile Modular was contracted to supply and install the building, ramps, steps, skirting, and custom site-installed roof. By choosing to go modular with Mobile Modular, Tonto Apache Tribe was able to save money and we were able to meet the stringent time constraints to open the clinic in the time frame required.

The Process–and Some Challenges

Mobile Modular designed and supplied the 36’x66’ modular medical clinic for Tonto Apache Tribe. Through the design process, a few hurdles were overcome by the Mobile Modular team including delayed supply chain issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the strong relationships we have with our manufacturers, we were able to get this project online with Amtex Corp and still meet the customer’s timeline needs. During the design process, Tonto Apache Tribe requested a painted metal roof in lieu of the standard EPDM rubber roof. Upon installation, the custom roof was added to the building for a more permanent feel which added to the existing aesthetic of the site.
